關澄博士畢業於香港大學社會科學學士學位，雙主修心理學及輔導學，並以一級榮譽及院長榮譽錄畢業。大學畢業後，她加入香港大學香港賽馬會防止自殺研究中心進行心理研究。在職期間，她同時於香港中文大學完成溝通障礙與科學專業文憑(Professional Diploma Programme in Communication Disorders and Sciences)。她其後遠赴英國深造，於倫敦大學學院(University College London)取得臨床心理學博士學位。關博士在修讀博士學位期間完成了涵蓋六種專科領域的密集臨床實習，其博士論文的主題是為家庭照顧者研發並推行一套適合香港文化及需要的認知障礙症課程，充分展現其將學術研究與臨床實踐深度融合的能力。
關博士擁有廣泛的臨床經驗。除了治療情緒病，她也擅長為因壓力、人際關係、哀傷，以及因身體健康問題而情緒受困人士提供心理治療。她曾服務於多間國際知名醫療及社區機構，如：1. 倫敦大學學院醫院婦女健康專科，為面對生育困難、創傷及哀傷的婦女與伴侶提供心理評估及治療；2. 倫敦寧養安老院舍，為長者、家屬及員工提供心理評估與治療。期間，她更協助建立並拓展了全英國首個以實證為基礎的安老院舍心理照護模式，透過主導員工培訓，顯著提升了照護品質與團隊心理健康；3. 西敏市兒童及青少年精神健康服務，協助受情緒病困擾的青少年；以及4. 倫敦長新冠心理服務，支援患者應對疫後複雜的身心挑戰。她精通多種實證療法，如認知行為治療 (Cognitive Behavioural Therapy)、接受與承諾療法 (Acceptance and Commitment Therapy)、慈悲聚焦治療 (Compassion Focused Therapy) 與敘事治療 (Narrative Therapy)。
關博士亦致力於專業培訓及公眾教育，並為家長、學生、心理學家及前線護理人員進行有關臨床技能和情緒健康知識的講座及培訓。她在香港接受過本地與國際學校體系的教育，曾於澳洲及英國進修，並具備流利的英語、粵語及普通話能力。她具備豐富的跨文化工作能力，能深入理解多元文化背景人士的需要。在學術研究方面，關博士的研究成果曾於《Social Science & Medicine》、《International Journal of Environmental Research and Public Health》、《Judgment and Decision Making》等國際權威期刊刊登，並獲邀於國際認知刺激治療會議(International Cognitive Stimulation Therapy Conference)及英國老年心理學會年會(Faculty of the Psychology of Older People Annual Conference)擔任講者及聯席主席，積極促進專業領域的知識交流與發展。
憑藉其多方面的臨床經驗及對專業發展的持續投入，關博士秉持著與來訪者同行的信念，致力為每位求診者提供全面及最具實效的治療。她希望繼續以其專業所長，與求診者共同面對挑戰，走過困境。

郭碧珊在一九九五年於香港中文大學心理系以一等榮譽畢業，亦獲頒優異畢業生的榮銜；於同校在二零零零年修畢臨床心理學社會科學碩士課程時，更是全班唯一獲登院長榮譽錄的畢業生。在修讀大學和研究院期間，郭碧珊總共獲頒發九項奬學金。在香港中文大學完成臨床心理學碩士課程後，她隨即開始出任香港中文大學醫學院香港進食失調中心的臨床心理學家。在二零零一年，香港健康情緒中心成立之後，她亦同時出任香港健康情緒中心的臨床心理學家。她於二零零四年獲升任為一級執業臨床心理學家。在二零零六年，更獲一著名女性雜誌頒發「成功女士大奬」。
郭碧珊對於治療患有情緒病和進食失調症的成人及青少年極具經驗，她並致力向其他專業人士及市民推廣有關認知行為治療和情緒健康的知識。郭碧珊為前線醫護及社福人員如家庭醫生、社會工作者等提供超過三十場專業訓練，及為不同的公共及私營機構進行了超過五十場有關壓力管理的講座。她的著作包括有《為情所困》、《吃不由己》、《愛﹒情故事 I》、《愛﹒情故事 II》及《情緒探熱針》。
郭碧珊亦透過媒體推廣情緒健康和壓力管理的知識。她曾接受多間本地報刊(星島日報、經濟日報、明報、信報、東方日報、蘋果日報、大公報、成報、South China Morning Post、Hong Kong Standard、晴報、am730、東周刊、壹周刊、明報周刊和Jessica等)及電視電台(無線電視、亞洲電視、香港電台、商業電台、英國BBC電視台、有線電視、NOW TV及鳳凰衛視等)的訪問，及為報刊(東周刊、明報周刊及Jessica等)撰寫關於情緒健康的專欄。
郭碧珊曾經擔任心晴行動慈善基金的副主席和再生會的顧問。現為心晴行動慈善基金的顧問。
